Unarmed Security Guards Needed for Positions at Chicago Hospital

Job description

Role Description

We are hiring both full-time and part-time/flex on-site Unarmed Security Guard positions at 2W Security, LLC for a hospital post located in the Greater Chicago Area.

The Unarmed Security Guard will be responsible for patrolling and monitoring premises, following hospital protocol, ensuring safety and security, and responding to emergencies as needed.

If selected you will have to attend a special orientation at the hospital before starting work. This position will begin early June 2025.

Qualifications

  • U.S. Citizenship or valid Green Card
  • PERC card
  • High school diploma or G.E.D.
  • Strong communication skills, including spoken and written English
  • Excellent observation skills
  • Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and efficiently
  • Physical fitness and the ability to stand and patrol for extended periods
  • Good personal grooming habits
  • Have reliable transportation
  • Honest and dependable
  • Experience in security and/or hospitals is a plus
  • Knowledge of security protocols and procedures
  • Must provide references
  • Must be able to pass a background check
  • Must be able to pass a drug screening

Medical Requirements

  • Physical Exam, fit test, TB test QFTTB
  • Must have Covid vaccination proof (1 dose of Johnson and Johnson, 1 dose of Bi-Valent or 2 does of Moderna and Pfizer
  • Must have proof of Influenza vaccination, and proof of the following immunizations: measles, mumps, rubella, varicella, Hepatitis B, Titer-hep B or Declination
  • Must be able to pass a drug screening
