Security Officer Requirements
Requirements for 2W Security Unarmed Security Officers
In addition to a strong work ethic, all candidates must meet these minimum requirements:
- U.S. Citizenship or valid Green Card
- Live Scan fingerprints
- PERC card
- High school diploma or G.E.D.
- Drug screening and background check
- Strong communication skills, including spoken and written English
- Good personal grooming habits
- Have reliable transportation
- Honest and dependable
- Must provide references
- 20 hours of security guard training (2W Security will provide this training if you are considered for hiring)
Requirements for 2W Security Armed Security Officers
All candidates must meet the criteria for unarmed officers listed above, in addition to the following:
- FOID card
- 20 hours of armed security guard training (2W Security will provide this training if you are considered for hiring)
